Applications for the admission procedure are accepted from August 31 to September 18, 2026.
Applications are submitted in person or by registered mail with the note "Application for admission procedure".
In case of applying to more than one study programme, each application with the required documents is submitted separately.
Diploma (original or certified copy) or certificate of completed undergraduate study*
Birth certificate or ID card with OIB (Personal Identification Number)*; Croats who are not citizens of the Republic of Croatia must submit proof of belonging to the Croatian people; other foreign nationals must submit proof of citizenship (citizens of European Union member states and citizens of non-EU countries) must submit a copy of a valid passport or a copy of a valid ID card or proof of citizenship.
Diploma Supplement or Transcript of Records (original or certified copy)*
Average grade of all students of the candidate's home undergraduate study programme*
Certificates for special achievements that entitle the candidate to additional points (e.g., Rector's Award, Dean's Award, exceptional sporting achievements)
Proof of payment of admission procedure costs in the amount of €25.00

Each additional study programme application costs an additional €13.00. Proof of payment (copy of payment slip) must be attached when applying for the admission procedure for each of the selected study programmes.
* Candidates who have completed their undergraduate study at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology do not need to submit documents under points 2., 3., 4. and 5.
It is necessary to submit a certificate of academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications (more about the procedure), and a certificate of Croatian language proficiency (passed Croatian language on the state matura or passed B2 level exam). The exam is conducted by the National Centre for External Evaluation of Education (more about the procedure). The exam can also be taken at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (more about the procedure).
Applications without the required information will not be considered.
Based on the points achieved, a ranking list is created for each study programme.
