At the University of Zagreb Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, we systematically and responsibly build a quality culture in all aspects of our activities – from teaching and scientific research to administrative support and collaboration with the industry.

Quality Assurance

Our quality assurance system is based on the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area – ESG, as well as the requirements of the international ISO 9001 standard, evidenced by our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate.

Ensures a focus on the continuous improvement of all processes, particularly in teaching and scientific research, contributing to the achievement of the Faculty's strategic goals.

Management Structure

The system is organized through a clearly defined structure that includes representatives of students, academic and administrative staff, and external stakeholders.

Evaluations

Regular evaluations identify areas for improvement and serve as a basis for decision-making, action plans, and the advancement of work at all levels.

The Faculty's Quality Policy is based on open communication and a proactive approach centered on students, to whom we aim to provide a modern, relevant, and inspiring educational experience. We strive to maintain an academic environment that encourages responsibility, transparency, and excellence, while openness to constructive suggestions and readiness for change form the foundation of the quality culture we develop and enhance.
