Scoring

KCandidates must register for the state matura exams that are scored in the selection procedure:

Croatian Language Mathematics (A level) Biology or Chemistry

Programs in Food Technology and Biotechnology

1. Secondary school achievement: up to 400 points

2. State Matura exams:

Croatian: 50 points Mathematics (A): 250 points Foreign Language: 50 points Chemistry/Biology: 250 points
The requirement is that at least one of the subjects (Chemistry/Biology) is passed. The higher of the two scores is counted.

3.  Additional achievements:

  • National and international competitions (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology) – 1st to 3rd place: DIRECT ENROLMENT

  • Nutri-vita competition – 1st to 3rd place: 50 points

Program in Nutrition

1. Secondary school achievement: up to 400 points

2. State Matura exams:

Croatian: 50 points Mathematics (A): 200 pointsbodova Foreign Language: 50 points Chemistry/Biology: 300 points
The requirement is that at least one of the subjects (Chemistry/Biology) is passed. The higher of the two scores is counted.

3. Additional achievements:

  • National and international competitions (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology) – 1st to 3rd place: DIRECT ENROLMENT

  • Nutri-vita competition – 1st to 3rd place: 50 points

Fees

The right to full subsidisation of study costs for full-time students in the academic year 2025/2026 is established by the Regulation on Programme Financing of Public Higher Education Institutions and Public Scientific Institutes in the Republic of Croatia (Narodne novine 78/2023, Article 5, Paragraph 3).

For students who do not qualify for state subsidisation, the tuition fee amount is determined by a special Decision of the University Senate for the academic year 2025/2026.
