General information about admission

Admission is conducted through a public call for applications issued by the Faculty Council, usually once a year. The call is published in the Narodne novine and on the websites of the Faculty and the University.

The applicant submits the application within the prescribed deadline, including the selected study module, a proposed research area, and a justification for the choice of scientific field.

Admission Requirements

A person may enrol in the postgraduate specialist programme in Food Quality and Safety if they have completed a university undergraduate (old programme) or graduate programme in biotechnical sciences, technical sciences, biomedical sciences, or natural sciences.

A person may enrol in the postgraduate specialist programme in Food Management if they have completed a university undergraduate (old programme) or a graduate programme with a total of 300 ECTS credits.

Important Note

An interview with the applicant is a mandatory part of the admission procedure for defining the necessary conditions for completing the programme.

Fee per semester: 1.050,00 EUR
Foreign nationals: 1.450,00 EUR
Application fee: 90,00 EUR
Enrolment fee (1st year): 50,00 EUR
Enrolment fee (subsequent years): 30,00 EUR
Fee for requests/appeals: 70,00 EUR
