Ennrolement in Bioprocess Engineering

Corresponding undergraduate study programmes are studies in the following fields:

Depending on the programme, candidates enrol in differential courses or a differential semester/year.

They enrol as full-time students without differential courses. 
In the admission procedure, due to compatibility with the study programme, the candidate achieves 50 points.

They enrol as full-time students, with mandatory differential courses (during the 1st and 2nd semesters):

Numerical Methods and Programming (4 ECTS) Introduction to Biotechnology (3 ECTS) Biochemical Engineering (8 ECTS)
In the admission procedure, due to compatibility with the study programme, the candidate achieves 43 points.

They enrol in a differential year (part-time student status) with courses:

Mathematics 2 (5 ECTS) Physics (5 ECTS) Numerical Methods and Programming (4 ECTS) Fundamentals of Engineering (5 ECTS) Transfer Phenomena (4 ECTS) Unit Operations (4 ECTS) Introduction to Biotechnology (3 ECTS) Biochemical Engineering (8 ECTS) Process Measurement and Control (3 ECTS)
The courses must be passed before enrolment in the regular first semester of the graduate study programme. In the admission procedure, due to compatibility with the study programme, the candidate achieves 35 points.

They enrol in a differential year (part-time status):

In the admission procedure, due to compatibility with the study programme, the candidate achieves 40 points.

They enrol in a differential semester/year (part-time status):

In the admission procedure, due to compatibility with the study programme, the candidate achieves 35 points.

They enrol as full-time students with differential courses (during the 1st and 2nd semesters):

Candidates who have completed a corresponding professional study programme must take the admission exam.

The admission exam for the graduate study programme BIOPROCESS ENGINEERING consists of 40 questions in the areas of: biochemistry (10 points), microbiology (10 points), engineering (unit operations and thermodynamics) (10 points) and biochemical engineering (10 points).
