Nutricionizam

The programme is based on the latest scientific achievements in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, toxicology, human physiology and anatomy, nutrition science, diet therapy, and food quality control, aiming to educate specialists in nutrition.

Nutrition is an applied natural science focused on food and its effects on the human body. Research in this field plays a leading role in understanding processes related to nutrition and the onset of diseases, as well as in modulating an individual's genetic potential. The education of experts in this field is vital for all countries, as nutrition-related issues – though varied – are present in all societies, regardless of their level of development.

The role of a nutritionist

Today, nutritionists play an increasingly significant role as researchers and educators, translating scientific insights for the general population to preserve health. Furthermore, they are key figures in the creation and production of novel and other modern food products.
