Laboratory for Meat and Fish Technology operates within the Department of Food Technology Engineering of the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb.

It was established in 1957 within the Department of General Chemical and Food Technology of the Faculty of Technology in Zagreb, and since then has continuously contributed to the development of the profession through scientific and teaching work.
