Laboratory for MRA was established in 1957 and operates within the Department of Process Engineering. The mission of the Laboratory is to connect fundamental engineering knowledge with modern technological solutions.

The teaching activities, under the leadership of Associate Professor Tamara Jurina, PhD, cover key areas of measurement, regulation and automation, as well as applied modeling and optimization. Special emphasis is placed on introducing the principles of the circular bioeconomy through smart resource management and the application of digital tools in process optimization.

The scientific research work of the Laboratory is highly international in character, as confirmed by its participation in numerous projects such as COST, TEMPUS and ERASMUS programs. The goal of these activities is integration into the European research area and the direct transfer of knowledge and innovation to the real industrial sector.
