Electronic Identity

  • is a set of data about an individual, used for the purpose of identity verification (authentication) and access rights (authorization).
  • It is stored in a special database called a directory.
  • The electronic identity contains a username that uniquely describes the user, and a password that should be known only to the user.
  • In the authentication process, the user identifies themselves with their username and password.

How to obtain an electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system?

Who can obtain an electronic identity and what is required?

An electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system can be obtained by members of the academic and research community in the Republic of Croatia, exclusively at their competent home institution.

Persons who are in postgraduate studies at one of the faculties in the AAI@EduHr system, and do not possess an AAI@EduHr electronic identity, can and must obtain an electronic identity at that faculty.

Registered scientists whose home institution is not in the AAI@EduHr system can request an electronic identity at CARNet's Public Server (link is external)

How to change the password of the electronic identity in the AAI@EduHr system?
